EVENT BACKGROUND:

Before COVID, the CCBCC traditionally held a March Motor Madness social get-together to celebrate the end of Winter, the arrival of Spring, and our hope to get our cars back out as quickly as possible.

The CCBCC is holding this fun event once again,  British Motor Madness.

It will be a great event to see friends, meet new members, and have a ton of fun, all before the driving season starts up.

EVENT LOGISTICS:

• Date: March 29th
• Time:  5:00PM-9:00PM.
• Venue: Holiday Inn, Falmouth
• Food:  a delicious dinner is being prepared

• Bar: cash bar available
• Activities: Yankee Swap – bring an amusing wrapped gift for under $20.  Each person with a gift will get a ticket to participate. The more gifts, the more people participate, the more fun.  Suggest that each person bring a gift, but you could do one gift/couple.

Annual Meeting at Holiday Inn, Falmouth:  SAVE THE DATE, May 17, 2025

The club’s Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 17, 2025, 10:00 AM at Holiday Inn, Falmouth, MA.

Timeline for the day:  Annual Meeting:  10:00AM – 11:30AM

Holiday Inn has graciously provided excellent accommodations, coffee and refreshments.

The CCBCC by-laws require we meet annually for the election of officers and any open positions on the Board of Governors as well as for the transaction of any other business requiring a vote of the membership.  In advance of the meeting, club members will be sent a letter from Bill Scott, Chairman of Nominating Committee, with information about the meeting.

A listing of candidates running for officer positions and for vacant positions on the Board of Governors will be made available.

A link will be placed here for candidates and their short biographies.

Only a current paid-up individual member in good standing may vote.    Members and guests are encouraged to attend this important meeting.  Member support is important in ensuring a strong future for the club.

Following the meeting, the CCBCC will participate in our 2nd British Car Clubs-Building Bright Futures fundraiser event for Habitat for Humanity.  

British Car Clubs – Building Bright Futures

The CCBCC is working with Habitat of Cape Cod and will hold a fundraiser following the Annual Meeting.

Our event will include:

• 11:30 – 12:30PM:  a cruise from the Holiday Inn, Falmouth through Woods Hole and shore road of Falmouth including a small parade and will finish at the Habitat RESTORE store, 805 Gifford Street Extension, Falmouth
• 12:30PM-3:00PM:  we will hold a car show w/lunch and fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod at the RESTORE store, 805 Gifford Street Extension, Falmouth.

At the car show, we will raise funds with Vote for Best Car, 50/50 Raffle, and possibly Raffle for a Ride.

Habitat Cape Cod is publicizing the event, so there should be a good public turnout.
