EVENT BACKGROUND:

March Motor Madness was started near the beginning of CCBCC to pay tribute to the wives and SOs of our members. It was designed as a “Nice Night Out for the Wives.”  To recognize their contribution and patience to our mostly male members.  It is also a fun social get-together to celebrate the end of Winter, the arrival of Spring, and our hope to get our cars back out as quickly as possible.

The CCBCC is holding this fun event once again,  March Motor Madness 2025.

It will be a great event to see friends, meet new members, and have a ton of fun, all before the driving season starts up.

Yankee Swap is back – Participation is voluntary at $25.00 PER PERSON. No joke gifts, please.

Come one, come all – a great time to be had by everyone!

EVENT LOGISTICS:

• Date: March 29th
• Time:  5:00PM-9:00PM.
• Venue: Iris Hotel Cape Cod (formerly Holiday Inn), Falmouth
• Food:  a delicious dinner is being prepared
  • Charcuterie Board with artisanal cheeses, charcuterie meats, fruit, vegetable crudite and all accompaniments/garnishes.

May 2nd, Forestdale/Sandwich – for all members, but convenient for members in Mid/Upper Cape and Off-Cape.

Vehicle Safety Inspection, 9:00AM – 1:00PM

Get prepared for the driving season with a safety review on and off lift.

Bring your car to Bill’s Garage and get it on the lift for a detailed inspection.

Or drive your daily driver, and learn about a Safety Inspection on a Training Aid (someone else’s car)

Annual Meeting at Iris Hotel Cape Cod, Falmouth:  May 16, 2026

The club’s Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at Iris Hotel Cape Cod (formerly Holiday Inn), Falmouth, MA.

Iris Hotel Cape Cod has graciously provided excellent accommodations, coffee and refreshments for the Annual Meeting.

If you would like a full breakfast, the restaurant will be open earlier and you can purchase off the menu.

Timeline for the day:  Annual Meeting:  9:00AM – 11:00AM

• 9:00AM :  Please come early for coffee & muffin at 9:00AM.
• 9:30 AM: meeting will start
• 11:00: meeting will end
• 11:30 – depart on Building Bright Futures cruise & Habitat fundraiser.

The CCBCC by-laws require we meet annually for the election of officers and any open positions on the Board of Governors as well as for the transaction of any other business requiring a vote of the membership.  In advance of the meeting, club members will be sent a letter from Bill Scott, Chairman of Nominating Committee, with information about the meeting.

Following the meeting, the CCBCC will participate in our 3rd British Car Clubs-Building Bright Futures fundraiser event for Habitat for Humanity.

Weather is going to be gorgeous. A $50 on-line donation gets you a day of fun and driving over 55 miles of backroads Online pre-registration is preferred so we can prepare enough Rallye packets for the participants.

If you are unable to pre-register and want to take part, please come on out to Patriot Square at 9:00AM and bring $50 cash. We do NOT have credit card capability. We do have a few extra Rallye packets, and if we run out, we will do our best to fit you in.

The Rallye Cape Cod is a great driving event as you tour through back roads of Cape Cod and test your driver/navigator teamwork skills. The Rallye consists of a 3 hour drive around Cape Cod scenic/back roads, stops at 3 local non-profit organizations, whimsical quiz questions, timed start/finish, prizes, lunch, and fun.  The points do matter, but more importantly, you will be helping local technical students, local people in need, and local rescue animals.

ALL NEW EVENT:

• Brand new course – approx 52 miles, 2.5 hrs with 4 stops.
• Course goes through Dennis, Brewster, Harwich, and Yarmouth.
• New games & challenges.
• New format: event will be a team event; 2-3 cars per team.
• New date for our 5th CCBCC Rallye – later in the year to avoid the tourist traffic and the summer heat.
• New start time: 9:00AM registration open, 10:00 navigator & driver meeting, 10:30 start.
• The STARTING POINT is Patriot Square (in front of the Cinema), Dennis.  
  • Patriot Square can be accessed from Rt 6 at Exit 78 (old Exit 9), go south on Rt 134, turn LEFT at Traffic light.  
• The FINISHING POINT is Kream ‘N Cone, 961 Main St, West Dennis (corner of Rt 28 & Rt 134)
  • We will finish there, have lunch, and awards.

THE EVENT:

The CCBCC Freezing’ Fun Run For Kids (FFR4Ks) is an exciting annual fundraising event for Independence House and a great social gathering for CCBCC where we come together for a cruise and a lunch and raise much needed funds for IH.  CCBCC is proud to have a 22 year old relationship with this highly respected non-profit service organization that provides much needed services to abused women and their families.  Last year’s FFR4Ks raised over $6,300 for Independence House.

Important things to know:

• Pre-register yourself and guests on the CCBCC website so we know you are coming.
• Pepay the lunch for yourself and guests when you register. $35/person for lunch.
• Each car brings a gift card ($25 or more).  This is your entry fee/car to the event.  All cards go to Independence House.
• Bring an item for the silent auction.  Think of something that people will want to bid on.
• Bring cash or checks to pay for items you win at silent auction.  Credit Cards will NOT work.
