Freezin’ Fun Run 4 Kids: Nov 7th, 2026

UPDATES MADE TO NAME OF RESTAURANT & TIMES on OCTOBER 27.

The CCBCC Freezing’ Fun Run For Kids (FFR4Ks) is an exciting annual fundraising event for Independence House and a great social gathering for CCBCC where we come together for a cruise and a lunch and raise much needed funds for IH.  CCBCC is proud to have a 23 year old relationship with this highly respected non-profit service organization that provides much needed services to abused victims and their families.  Last year’s FFR4Ks raised over $6,300 and the CCBCC has raised over $100,000 in total.  Please come out and have some fun with your CCBCC friends, have a great cruise, enjoy a wonderful lunch, and raise much needed funds for Independence House.

  • There is a Dunkin nearby for coffee
• When: Nov 7th, Saturday
  • 10:00AM-10:30AM – register and hand in your gift card.
  • 11:00AM – starting time for cruise through scenic south shore roads
  • 12:00PM – return to Michael’s Village Pub for lunch
  • 1:00PM for the silent auction
  • 2:00PM finish

• How do we fundraise for IH:
  • Entry Fee per car is a $25 (or more) gift card (more is always welcome).
  • All gift cards go to Independence House –
  • Bring an item for the silent auction.
    • We hope your item gets lots of bids
    • And we hope you bid often on other items
  • Cash & check donations are also welcome.
  • Bring your checkbook and/or cash.  Credit cards will not work.
  • If you cannot make the event, please consider making a donation.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: a little different this year.

• When you register, you will also pay for lunch and choose your entree.
  • Please register individually.  Do NOT register as a group of 2 or more.
  • If your spouse, partner, friend is coming, please register them separately.
• Lunch cost / person is $35.
• Entree choices are Chicken Supreme, Fish & Chips, or House Marinated Teriyaki Steak Tips.
  • Included: chowder or salad, dessert, coffee, soft drinks
  • Included: gratuity and all other fees.
  • Cash bar available
• Instructions.
  • Please register individually.  Do NOT register as a group of 2 or more.
    • Please answer “JUST ME” to question of “Who is coming?”.
    • Please answer “YES” to “are You Attending Event?”.

Important things to remember:

• Pre-register yourself and guests individually on the CCBCC website so we know you are coming and your entree selection.
  • Pick your entree and pepay the lunch for yourself and guests.  Do so individually.
• Each car brings a gift card ($25 or more).  This is your entry fee/car to the event.  All gift cards go to Independence House.
• Bring an item for the silent auction.  Think of something that people will want to bid on.
• Bring cash or checks to pay for items you win at silent auction.  Credit Cards will NOT work

NOTE: this is a RAIN or SHINE event – there is no rain date – we will hold the event regardless of weather.  

Tradition demands that tops are down/off despite the temperature – that’s why it’s the Freezing’ Run.

(You can choose what transportation to bring if it’s raining/snowing.)

Come on out to our last Cars & Coffee / Car Show at Nana’s Caffe Italiano, 33 Cotuit Road, Sandwich, MA.

Time is Saturday, Nov 14th, 8:00AM – 10:30AM;  come any time leave anytime.

This just might be your last ride in your LBC before the cold weather sets in.

Nan’s has a wonderful selection of breakfast food; Lavazza coffee bar, sandwiches, buffet, and “North End” pastries.

CCBCC will have a dedicated parking space:

please park on the right side and back of the building.

There are picnic tables but suggest you bring chairs for yourself and a friend.

DYTD – it’s a real thing!!!

Monday, Feb 10th, 2026 is Drive Your Triumph Day sponsored by the Triumph Travelers Sports Car Club to commemorate Sir John Black’s birthday.  All British cars can and should celebrate.

In some parts of the world, driving your Triumph is very doable.

But in New England, it is extremely doubtful that any Triumph or LBC on 2/10/27 will see roads that are clear and dry.  More likely they will be salt encrusted and packed with ice and snow.  Take a picture from your garage and send it in.

HOWEVER, if the day should be clear and dry, the Triumphs and LBCs will meet at Snowy Owl Coffeeshop on Main Street, Brewster at 10:00AM.

Monday, Feb 10th, 2026 is Drive Your Triumph Day sponsored by Triumph Travelers Sports Car Club to commemorate Sir John Black’s birthday.

DYTD is Tuesday, February 10th, the day when you take your Triumph (or other LBC) out for a drive and take a photo of it? Remember this could be a cool spot, work, grocery store, wherever. If your car is in hibernation for the winter, or in restoration or repair, take a photo of it in your garage. Have fun with it. Then send the full hi-res photo to DriveYourTriumphDay@gmail.com.

Ensure that you include your name, the year and model of your car, as well as the city, state, and country where the photo was taken.

Once all the photos are processed and posted, Triumph Travelers Sports car Club will send out an email containing the link for you to view the photos.”
