Truro Vineyard Cruise – superb cruise
Twelve cars (and a RAM truck) showed up for the Outer Cape / Truro Vineyard cruise. The weather was exceptional, the back roads beautifully scenic, and lunch at the Vineyard was perfect. A great day for driving, camaraderie, and enjoying what we have. Thanks to Dave for arranging the weather, the cruise, and making sure we had no “pop-up cyclists”.

CCBCC Facebook page
The CCBCC does have a Facebook page which you can access here. Unfortunately, there is a 2nd page that is not official and we have not been able to get it removed. Please make sure you are on the correct page. The correct CCBCC FB page has over 900 followers. The CCBCC Board did decide to restrict authorship to the CCBCC Facebook page to just the Administrator, which means you cannot directly post items. If you want to post an item on the CCBCC FB page, please email your item to contact@bcccc.org. The Administrator will review your item and then post it.
Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser: Note of Appreciation
Building Bright Futures for Habitat for Humanity: The Building Bright Futures event is something that the CCBCC started to encourage other British car clubs to raise funds for Habitat. This year, four clubs reported that they supported the BCC-BBF:
- The New Jersey Triumph Assoc raised over $2000 and more coming in for the Passaic County Habitat for Humanity. They held a tech session at William Thomas Roadsters in Frenchtown and a car show on Bridge Street, with additional donations from Chez Daniel, a local French restaurant. I’m attaching their newsletter for more detail.
- The Keystone British Car Club, PA raised $552 for Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, PA. They solicited donations at the Carlisle Show and the club added a sizable donation.
- The Austin Healey Sports & Touring Club, North Jersey Region raised $1400 for Habitat for Humanity in Greater Middlesex/Morris, NJ. They held a car show at the local Habitat Restore with almost 30 cars. Plus, the local Restore facility opened up on Sunday for their show and public attendance created $5300 in sales for the store. In total, $6,700 raised.
-
The Cape Cod British Car Club had 23 cars take part in the Building Bright Futures to raise funds for Habitat of Cape Cod. The CCBCC raised $2,265 for Habitat of Cape Cod with the raffle, best in show tickets, and private donations from members. All totaled, the BCC-BBF event raised over $11,500.Thanks to everyone for participating and making it happen. Every dollar counts and helps build “homes” for families in our communities. Well done. It’s great we can do this together. Looking forward to next year.
