i’ve seen used 4-post lifts listed for sale @ $3k or more… When I conducted some research to determine the required footprint, I discovered one manufacturer that will deliver a brand new 4-post lift to your garage (anywhere in the USA) for less than $1700, plus tax.  Triumph Lifts USA manufactures 2-post and 4-post lifts, plus many other configurations, but you have to assemble them.  The 8000-lb lift I considered ran on 110-v (most Lifts run on 220-v) and included one jack tray (use your own jack to lift the wheels off the deck) and a handful of plastic drip trays.  An extra jack tray can be purchased for less than $200.  Their jack is even pricier.  The height of my garage would not allow for stacked storage, but just getting the car 4-ft off the ground would be a huge benefit for most maintenance. I was ready to buy, but the footprint was just too big for my double-wide garage.  It would take up slightly more than half my garage width, thus pushing my wife’s car out into the weather (a non-starter proposition).  Check out their website and any of the Product Reviews posted on YouTube.  This pricing has been in effect since Jan 2026, and there is no indication if/when the pricing may change.
There are some Club Members with Lifts and they might offer some real world experience and/or advice on 2-post vs 4-post, or one manufacturer vs another.
