Hi Fred, I went back to the Victorian Assisted Living facility in Chatham today to visit with one of the residents I took for an illicit drive when we had our event there recently. While there, the chef told me that he has been restoring an old Spitfire for a while but the body is, he says, too far gone and he is "going to be getting a divorce from it." I wish I'd thought to mention to him that I could let the BCC know in case anyone was interested in a project (or parts?). Thought I'd mention it, given your question about whether there are any other Spitfires out there... Mary
