THE EVENT:

The CCBCC Freezing’ Fun Run For Kids (FFR4Ks) is an exciting annual fundraising event for Independence House and a great social gathering for CCBCC where we come together for a cruise and a lunch and raise much needed funds for IH.  CCBCC is proud to have a 22 year old relationship with this highly respected non-profit service organization that provides much needed services to abused women and their families.  Last year’s FFR4Ks raised over $6,300 for Independence House.

Important things to know:

• Pre-register yourself and guests on the CCBCC website so we know you are coming.
• Pepay the lunch for yourself and guests when you register. $35/person for lunch.
• Each car brings a gift card ($25 or more).  This is your entry fee/car to the event.  All cards go to Independence House.
• Bring an item for the silent auction.  Think of something that people will want to bid on.
• Bring cash or checks to pay for items you win at silent auction.  Credit Cards will NOT work.

• How do we fundraise for IH:
  • Entry Fee per car is a $25 (or more) gift card (more is always welcome).
  • All gift cards go to Independence House –
  • Bring an item for the silent auction.
    • We hope your item gets lots of bids
    • And we hope you bid often on other items
  • Cash & check donations are also welcome.
  • Bring your checkbook and/or cash.  Credit cards will not work.
• Location: Overlook Clubhouse, 140 Great Island Road, Pinehills, Plymouth
• When: Nov 9th,
  • 9:00AM to register and hand in your gift card.
  • 10:00AM starting time for the Cruise,
  • 11:00AM for the lunch
  • 1:00PM for the silent auction
  • 2:00PM finish
• Cruise Details:
  • Starting Point: Overlook Clubhouse, 140 Great Island Road Road, Pinehills, Plymouth
  • 9:00-9:30AM –    Check-In / Registration @ Overlook Clubhouse, Pinehills.
  • 9:45.   – Driver/Navigator meeting
  • 10:00  –  Cruise commences
  • 11:00-11:30  – Cruise ends at Overlook Clubhouse.
• Lunch Details:
  • Catered lunch from Mamma Mia’s Restaurant, the Pinehills
  • Cost: $35/person.  Please pre-pay when you register online.
• Silent Auction
  • IMPORTANT: BRING CASH or CHECKS.  We do not have Credit Card capability.
  • 1:00PM  auction starts
  • 1:30PM  pick up and pay
  • 2:00PM  finish

NOTE: this is a RAIN or SHINE event – there is no rain date – we will hold the event regardless of weather.  

Tradition demands that tops are down/off despite the temperature – that’s why it’s the Freezing’ Run.

(You can choose what transportation to bring if it’s raining/snowing.)

NOTE: if you cannot attend, please consider sending a donation to support Independence House.

You can do this by sending a check to the CCBCC, P.O. Box 1661, Sandwich MA 02563.  Make your check payable to Independence House and we will include it in our donation package to IH.  

Or, you can make a donation directly to IH (www.independencehouse.org or mail) and make a note that you are a part of the CCBCC fundraiser.
